Zuzka Vaclavik is a citizen of both the U.S. and Slovakia. Born in Virginia to parents who escaped from Communist Slovakia, she has lived in Germany and Cambodia, and several states in the U.S. She is currently teaching art at the University of Georgia and will be teaching painting in Italy this Fall.
